Dr. Erica Young-Reevey, DSW, LCSW-S, LICSW-S
Dr. Erica Young-Reevey,is a trailblazer in the field of mental health as the co-founder and CEO of Essential Embrace Healing, offering her expertise across Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio, and Texas. With over a decade dedicated to transforming lives, Erica's journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Berea College, followed by dual achievements at the University of Louisville—a Master of Science and a Doctoral Degree in Social Work. Her academic prowess extends further with a Master in Arts of Spirituality from Bellarmine University.

Before becoming a therapist, Erica's career began with Child Protective Services, aspiring to become a child advocacy lawyer. Her time there revealed a deeper calling: to provide empathy, understanding, and support beyond legal advocacy. This realization led Erica to transition into clinical social work, driven by her belief in the dignity of every person and her dedication to creating spaces where individuals can express themselves authentically and feel validated in their experiences.

Erica embodies a multifaceted career spanning various roles: Co-Founder of The Black Counseling & Consulting Collective, Founder & CEO of Therapists Need Therapy Too, and Clinical Supervisor across multiple states. A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta, Erica also serves on community advisory boards focused on mental health and wellness. As an Adjunct Professor Erica contributes to shaping future mental health professionals.

Erika Jones, ALC
Erika Jones, Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC), is the co-founder and COO of Essential Embrace Healing. In 2010, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Berea College and obtained her Master's in Psychology from Capella University in 2018. Erika pursued her career in mental health services to understand and integrate experiences she struggled to understand growing up. Becoming a licensed clinician gave her the tools to understand herself authentically and how her experiences shaped who she has become. Erika finds passion in this work because she knows it has supported her, and she hopes to do the same for her clients.
When Erika looks for a therapist to care for her, she looks for qualities that reflect her approach—relatable, open-minded, and passionately driven by the purpose of their work. This same ethos shapes her interactions with clients, creating a supportive space where you can safely process your experiences, emotionally and physically.

Amanda Beaumont, CSW
Amanda Beaumont, a compassionate and dedicated Certified Social Worker (CSW) who earned her Master in Social Work degree from Campbellsville University in 2020. Prior to this accomplishment, Amanda graduated Cum Laude from Spalding University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree.

Amanda's expertise spans various service areas, reflecting a diverse and rich background in geriatrics, school social work, hospice and end-of-life care, as well as addressing the myriad life stressors and complex mental health concerns that individuals encounter daily. Her professional journey has taken her to different regions of the country, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele across the lifespan.

The calling to enter the field of social work for Amanda originated from a personal need to understand her own experiences and a deep desire to assist others on their journey to self-discovery and healing. Amanda firmly believes that treatment should not follow a one-size-fits-all approach and places immense value on meeting clients where they are to foster an authentic and safe environment for growth.

Angel Britt, CSW
Angel Britt is a highly dedicated professional with a diverse educational background and a fervent commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Holding certifications in Learning and Behavior Disorders and as a Certified Social Worker (CSW), Angel is steadfast in her dedication to addressing the unique needs of diverse populations.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2012, Angel continued her academic pursuits, achieving a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2013. Asia Drake, CSW
Asia Drake, Certified Social Worker (CSW), has a degree in Justice and Public Safety (2016) from Sullivan University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work (2021). Asia is a passionate therapist driven by a calling to make a difference. For Asia, the path of helping people is more than a career—it's a fundamental part of who she is. Guiding individuals towards healing and growth brings her joy, making her job feel less like work and more like living her passion.

Bobbi Bledsoe, CSW
With over 8 years of experience in the addiction field, Bobbi Bledsoe specializes in services for Faith Based Initiatives, Pregnant and Parenting Women Services (PPW) and Recovery Housing support.
Becoming a therapist is both a personal and professional mission for Bobbi, inspired by her own struggles. Having overcome these obstacles, she vowed to give back by helping others, especially underserved communities, to recover. Bobbi’s passion lies in rebuilding families and offering hope. She particularly enjoys working with Faith Based programs and Pregnant and Parenting Women.
While her future goals are yet to be determined, Bobbi remains driven by the countless possibilities ahead. She holds certifications as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) and Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS). Her favorite quote, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step," by Lao-Tzu, embodies her approach to life and recovery.
Dr. Kendrah Sanders, DSW, CSW
Dr. Kendrah Sanders, Certified Social Worker (CSW), is a dedicated therapist with over 23 years of experience specializing in clients dealing with chemical dependency, dual diagnoses, and ongoing criminal justice matters. Kendrah graduated from the University of Louisville in 2016, earning her Master of Science in Social Work.

Kendrah's purpose in this field is to illuminate the path for individuals facing complex emotional challenges, guiding them toward productive, joyful, and fulfilling lives. Her collaborative approach empowers clients to define their treatment goals and objectives, creating a space where they feel heard and empowered to discover meaning and direction in their journey.

She has extensive experience in case management with criminal offenders, parents navigating child removal situations, and clients experiencing acute mental health crises. Tyran DeWalt, CSW
Tyran DeWalt, a dedicated Gratitude Therapist and Certified Hypnotherapist, who holds a licensure as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in the state of Kentucky. With a rich 16-year history in the mental health field, Tyran has worn many hats, including roles such as Family Home Provider, Child and Family Therapist, Medical Social Worker, Cognitive Brain Trainer, Meditation Facilitator, Rehabilitation Counselor, Community Support Professional, Hypnotherapist, Reiki Energy Healer, and Spiritual Life Coach.

Tyran embarked on his academic journey at the University of Louisville, earning a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Communication in 2009. His commitment to furthering his knowledge led him to complete his Master of Science in Social Work at the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville in 2020. He delved into the realm of energy healing with a training in Reiki Energy Healing under the guidance of JoAnn Utley in 2008, and later pursued a Life Coaching/Hypnotherapist certification at Tri-state Hypnosis Center in 2012.
In his quest for purpose, Tyran explored diverse career trajectories, ranging from the airline industry to car sales, writing, transportation, and dining. However, his true calling lies in facilitating healing work and therapy. Tyran's personal journey of overcoming traumas, addictions, insecurities, and misperceptions uniquely positions him to empathize with his clients on a profound level.

Proud of his own healing journey as a client to numerous mental health practitioners, coaches, and energy workers, Tyran adopts an evidence-based and trauma-informed approach in his practice, emphasizing the importance of "teaching your thoughts how to think and your feelings how to feel."

At the core of Tyran's philosophy is the Blue-Sky Theory, asserting that no matter how challenging life may be, the sun of happiness and inner peace always exists beneath the surface of emotional storms. He firmly believes in the power to shift into a better state of being at any moment.

Dominique Davis, Clinic Manager (Kentucky and Texas)
Dominque is our clinic manager at our Kentucky and Texas locations. Dominque has a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Business Administration. Dominique enjoys her work as a clinic manager because it allows her to apply the unique skills she's gained during her career and offers her the perfect work-life balance. She also believes the work accomplished at our clinics is essential. Dominique knows that having a supportive therapist can be life-changing, and sometimes, reaching out for help can feel vulnerable and intimidating. She sees it as a privilege in her job to be your first point of contact and does not take her role in that process lightly.

Dominique understands that finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, and she is ready to assist you in starting this process. When Dominique is looking for a therapist to support her, she wants someone who thoughtfully listens, gives honest feedback, and challenges her toward growth and healing. Alexander McGrath Ritter, CSW, CSA
Meet Alexandra (Alex) McGrath Ritter, a dedicated Certified Case Manager with a strong commitment to mental health. Currently pursuing her master's in social work, Alex is set to graduate from Northern Kentucky University in May 2024. She already holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, graduating cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.

Alex brings a unique and diverse background to her work, having served in the United States Marine Corps from 2009 to 2013. During her time in the Marine Corps, she fulfilled various roles, including administration, participating in the base color guard, and organizing community events. This experience instilled in Alex a sense of discipline, community, and a passion for service.
​
In her current role as a Case Manager, Alex plays a vital role in connecting clients to their community and facilitating access to essential resources. Committed to ensuring clients' basic needs are met, she serves as a dedicated advocate in their treatment process. Alex's dedication to mental health is evident in her desire to help individuals see the best in themselves, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
Looking forward, Alex has plans to obtain her Certified Social Work (CSW) licensure in April 2024 with the ultimate goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She believes strongly in the value of self-determination, considering it one of the most significant assets that each individual possesses.
